Bassendean, Western Australia
Design by Woods Bagot
Following a two year redevelopment, the two storey heritage listed building now features six bars, two kitchens and nine signature zones, paying tribute to the history of the pub and its owners.
Conceived by the team at Woods Bagot, the spaces remain faithful to the many locals who know and love “The Basso” and the revitalised space tells the story of the town of Bassendean on its walls. Our aged leathers were selected to echo that historical narrative, capturing the old world spirit and timeless welcome of a neighbourhood pub.
The upholstery by Ergoline walks the line between a tailored new space and the very real sense that the seating has been there for generations.
