Cottesloe, Western Australia
Design by Emma Hann | Images by Jody D’Arcy
This award winning project sets a new standard for retirement living and aged care in Western Australia.
Set along the idyllic Cottesloe oceanfront, the inspiration for the interiors has been drawn from the local context and sense of place, as well as the landmark heritage buildings that are retained and celebrated on the site. Our leather has been selected in combination with textile as the upholstery choice for the lounge chairs by Cosh Living in the library and communal lobby spaces. These expertly crafted, Australian made chairs provide warmth, familiarity and sense of grandeur within a retirement living context. Our contract wall coverings have also been utilised in the aged care wing of the development.
Upon completion, this substantial project will be a residential neighbourhood for over 250 people and will also house amenities for the wider community, including a cafe, art precinct, medical centre and meeting facilities.
