Forrest Hall

Crawley, Western Australia

Design by Kerry Hill Architects

Forrest Hall has been designed as a multi-purpose building, providing accommodation for the recipients of the prestigious Forrest Scholarship and Fellowship programs.

Forrest Hall offers a stimulating and creative living environment for research leaders attending Western Australian universities and provides a unique opportunity to deliver benefits for the entire community for generations to come.

The rooms and public spaces feature our custom rugs and leather furniture designed and manufactured in Australia.

The team at Kerry Hill Architects have crafted a collection of buildings that sit spectacularly within their space alongside the Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River). The buildings reflect the original architecture of the University, yet present a distinguished Eastern gateway to the precinct. The architecture  is a celebration of its natural setting, with series of stone screens and green walls filtering light and noise to the naturally ventilated walkways.

The interior environment reflects the natural beauty of Western Australia, with blonde timbers, hues of deep greens and pinks and an expressive natural tan coloured leather throughout.
